KLIPPEL User Training

From September 22–23, 2026, you can join us in Dresden for a 2-day, in-depth training designed to expand your knowledge of the KLIPPEL Analyzer System.

The training is divided into two focus areas R&D and QC measurement applications. Each day covers fundamentals, best practices, and practical tips for working efficiently with dB-Lab and other related KLIPPEL tools. Participants will also gain a comprehensive overview of the KLIPPEL product portfolio, valuable background insights, and have the opportunity to exchange directly with our engineers.

The training is suitable for participants with varying levels of experience. Regardless of whether you're new to KLIPPEL or an experienced user, you'll find the seminar's content valuable.

Limited seats are available each day, so you can choose to sign up for one or both days. Don't miss out on this opportunity!

Content of the User Training

Divided into two parts for R&D and QC measurement applications each day will focus on the basics, target applications as well as tips and tricks, which are useful for the daily work with dB-Lab and respective KLIPPEL tools.

User Training for R&D System – September 22nd, 2025

On this day we will discuss the key topics:

  • How can I measure the 3D sound field of my speaker within less than 15min?
  • How to measure distortion and predict max SPL according to IEC 60268-21 and -23?

and focus further on the detailed topics:

  1. Tips and tricks for the daily work (dB-Lab):
It is not possible to give user training without showing some of the features of the dB-Lab software. After a brief overview of the setups and devices under test, we will focus on useful tips and tricks for daily work with dB-Lab and KLIPPEL tools.

  2. Linear Signal Domain (LPM, SCN):
We want to start with the basics. How to ensure that the KLIPPEL system is set up well? For checking this, nothing is better suited than a linear parameter measurement. You will get some useful tips for ensuring good and repeatable measurement conditions.

  3. 3D-Sound Radiation (Workbench, NFS):
Is it possible to measure the whole 3D sound field within 15 minutes?
Yes, it is. We will learn how to do this and how KLIPPEL’s patented room separation approach allows us to perform this measurement in a normal office room.

  4. Large Signal Domain (LSI, FLSI)
And there's no user training without showing an LSI measurement. After a brief overview of loudspeakers in the nonlinear domain, we will focus on how to measure large signal parameters. What's more, the new FLSI module is being introduced.

  5. Output-based measurements (MTON, TRF-Pro, DIS):
The new IEC 60268-21 and -23 provide meaningful guidance on how to measure distortion and max SPL. We will show, how to use the KLIPPEL tools to apply this standard in a quick measurement procedure. By doing this we will measure THD, intermodulation distortion and rub&buzz.

User Training for QC System – September 23rd, 2025

On this day we will discuss the key topics:

  • Basic user training (QC Engineer)
  • Testing consistent product quality with a focus on Max SPL in end-of-line testing

and focus further on the detailed topics:

  1. Introduction to the QC System
We want to start with an introduction to the KLIPPEL QC System addressing the various target applications, the key objectives in quality control as well as an overview of the different versions and features of the QC Software.

  2. Fundamental Testing with QC Standard and QC Stand-alone
Learn the basics of the QC System, including fundamental concepts and operations for engineers and operators. Discover hardware setup for different device types, test sequencing based on templates, and important result parameters

  3. Testing Data Sheet Compliance and max SPL
How to transfer target performance requirements from R&D to the production line and set up comprehensive test sequences for testing data sheet compliance, in particular max SPL? We will address methods for effective and robust defect and distortion testing at maximum output under non-ideal test conditions as well as smart metrics and limit setting.

  4. Integration, Traceability and Process Control
The last part of the training will cover how to integrate the QC System in your production process, how to handle traceability of metadata, setup changes and results and how to use built-in tools for process control and analysis like statistics, process capability indexes and control rules.
